Smart Pillow Stops Snoring (but so do these tips)
There is also Little Snoring.
Technology will solve everything! An inventor has developed a computerized pillow that adjusts while you sleep in the hopes that this will reduce nighttime snoring. The pillow works thanks to an attached computer (you will need a night stand). Will it beat the snore watch, or the Snorender?

I’m all for invention, but by the time this pillow gets made, you can lose a few pounds, which is often all it takes to reduce snoring. Since 40% of men and 25% of women snore, we could use a little help.
Here are some tips to reduce snoring:
- Try sleeping on your side.
- Get checked for allergies and sleep apnea.
- Lose weight. Seriously!
- Try elevating your head with an extra pillow or a contoured pillow (or buy the smart pillow if it ever comes out, I guess).
- Get a mouth guard or a snore strip.
- Take care of yourself. Things like smoking and an erratic sleep schedule aren’t going to help.
- Did you know? Snoring during pregnancy can be dangerous to the baby, so make sure to address this if it applies to you.
P.S. I used to snore and there’s only one word for that: sexy. I didn’t rattle the rafters or anything, but still, it was annoying. After I lost 20 pounds, the snoring went away and sleeping in general got much more comfortable. Weight loss - even a few pounds - does work. If you want tips, just let me know!

A Squash-ball, taped to the small of the back.
Apparently, it saved my parents’ marriage. ;)

It has been found that taking a small amount of honey with warm water at bedtime helps to coat the walls of the trachea and is an excellent anti-snoring drink.
There are herbal teas which contain chamomile or other herbs which provide you with a relaxed sleep. Take herbal teas that help to decongest your airways as this will prevent snoring.
