Bringing Home the Bacon
Bacon is hardly at the top of the list when it comes to healthy foods. It’s one thing to see bacon being slapped on a burger. But do we need to add bacon to candy, water, even bubbles? Yes, we absolutely do!
Presenting the very best in baconation:

Wendy’s Baconator. The spoof that isn’t. Or is it?

Bacon spray: for all your culinary needs. Why stop at salads? Add a spritz of bacon to your morning coffee for a delightful reminder of breakfast. Bacon spray: all the chemicals you love, none of the calories!

Bacon toothpicks: there’s something a little unsettling about picking meat out of your teeth with…meat.

Bacon mints: for platonic dates, guaranteed.

Bacon ice cream: don’t forget to top with hollandaise for an extra cholesterol boost.

Bacon water: rest assured, it’s low in fat! (Bacon water is actually for pups, but the manufacturer informs us that humans can quaff it, too!)

Bacon chocolate will surely satisfy even the most confused junk food cravings.

Chocolate-coated bacon: for the days when a chocolate bar isn’t chewy enough, it’s nice to have options.

Bacon cotton candy: a fluffy delight for the twelve-year-old Atkins set.

Bacon beer: it’s what’s for breakfast! I had this beer in a little town called Bamberg. It’s truly amazing stuff (at any time of the day).

And thanks to the Bubble Buddy, even your little four-legged friend can enjoy some bacon fun!

Who knew there were so many great bacon products…;) When I was going through my Atkins phase I think I OD on bacon, but you found some truely disturbing combinations — chocolate bacon, bacon mints =p … and I love my dogs but there aint no way in hell they’re getting bottled bacon water!

Bacon cannot be stopped.

Brian, amazingly there were more but I was starting to gross myself out! (Atkins phase…oh, the memories…)
Gusto,
That’s awesome. I’ve seen a smoke martini and a pickled baby octopus martini, but bacon????? Yikes!
Beajerry,
I predict a long and successful career in marketing. ;)

If you’re going to grab the chocolate coated bacon, you may want some Chicken Fried Bacon, too.

Kev, thanks for the link. Impressive…deep fried lard, essentially. :)

First thing to come to mind when I saw the chocolate covered bacon was: peanut butter and choco bacon sandwich. Sounding really good right now and no I’m not pregnant. I’d get my protein requirement right?

Funny, my mom craved peanut butter and bacon sandwiches when she was pregnant with me! And just look what happened…

The Tour Manager had a roommate whose father proclaimed a new way of eating:
Kosher
Trafe
Bacon
But this is pushing it, I think. Yuk.

Only 24 hours to marinate the bacon? Hmm. I tried this but put the bacon into the vodka for a week. The result was sort of… well, filling.
Also, if you love bacon desserts, try bacon caramel corn. Replace butter with bacon grease in your favorite caramel corn recipe — I like maple caramel corn myself. Follow the recipe to the hard crack stage, like you normally would. Toss the caramel over popcorn, thick pieces of bacon torn into small bits and roughly chopped toasted pecans.

Well, I must say, I do crave sweet, then salt, then sweet again, that bacon flavored chocolate would be great during PMS - 2 of my favorite things.
