Screw the dietary chaff from the vending machines. PB&J or Turkey and Cheese will be much more satisfying in the short and the long run. A whole-wheat-wrapped sandwich at 3 pm will keep your energy up until dinner with no sugar crash. It will also help your heart with a dose of mono-unsaturated fats, has fewer calories than the fair offered in row C-19, and it’s probably cheaper.
There is also a 99.9% chance you won’t become the embarrassed, enraged victim of one of the nastiest offenses modern technology forces us to endure: vending machine hesitation.
