Sleeping is a very important part of our lives. We’ll spend a third of our lifetime doing it, so it’s obviously worth doing right. When the human body sleeps, it’s repairing cells, growing tissues and detoxifying.
Your brain is resting, but your body is doing lots of maintenance; don’t give it one more thing to do by eating before bed. Try and give yourself at least four hours between your last meal and slumber’s sweet embrace. You’ll get more out of your sleep cycle, and breakfast will be more satisfying.
