Catch Healthbolt Doing Something Revolutionary

NowLive in L.A. is doing something revolutionary in the area of podcasting and blogging, and tonight I’m going to be their guinea pig for one hour.

They combine the mediums of blogging, podcasting, chat room and call-in radio into one format. You log onto their site to listen. Each show has a host who is live blogging/chatting during the podcast and listeners can call in using Skype to talk about the subject at hand.

I was approached by them a few weeks ago about healthbolt doing a regular weekly show and tonight is my test run to get any technical kinks ironed out (they’re still in beta, or ‘buggy’. And they need to make sure everything works on my end with the call-in system.)

I’m excited to try it out. I’m no stranger to live entertainment since I perform in a professional Improvisational Comedy troupe (Counterclockwise Comedy in K.C.) and I think the medium itself has lots of potential. It will be my first swing at podcasting though, so it may be lots of fun as I go down in flames. Either way it will be interesting
