Super High-Tech Product Review and Giveaway: One-Click Butter Cutter
If only I had someone with an Australian or British accent to pitch this gadget. It’s definitely solving one of life’s more trivial problems: messy stick butter. So it seems kind of like the answer to a question no one asked. But if they had asked, the answer would have been The One-Click Butter Cutter.
I’m going to be really honest here: I love this thing more than I should. You basically load a stick of butter into it, gun-magazine style, and then you just keep the whole deal in your fridge. When you want a pat of butter, just give it a squeeze and a 1/4 tablespoon pat of butter pops out the bottom with a satisfying “click”. No dirty knife or paper to deal with and it’s good for easy portion control.
Its design leaves something to be desired. It’s “pretty big”, as my wife pointed out. It’s also not the prettiest gadget at the ball, but it sits in the dark the most of the time, anyway. I can’t speak for the durability because I’ve only had mine a week, but it feels pretty solid.
Come up with a (preferably humorous) slogan or catchphrase for this goofy thing and leave it in the comments to get entered to win one. I’ll draw the winner’s name out of a hat on Friday.

I’m a professional translator German/English –> Italian and was looking in the web for the exact menanig of Stockbutter. I found this web site, but the Italian translation of the related description (as well of those in other releted links) is abosolute wrong and ridicolous. Nobody will buy a cutter for “dirty butter” (burro sudicio) plus other absurde meanings. This is probably a machine translation and I suggest to let the whole Italian pages revised.
