Wooden Bicycle
I love biking. I think they’re fabulous machines. I prefer riding a street bike fast as opposed to mountain biking, but I’ve never ridden a recumbent so I can’t say much about how they handle. However, I can say that this bike is pretty cool. First of all, it’s a recumbent, which is kind of weird. On top of that, it’s made of wood, which makes it officially bizarre.
It was built by Steve Schmeck who seems like a pretty cool guy, after poking around his website. He lives and enjoys the simple life, of sustainable living and gardening in the northwoods of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Oh, and he builds bikes out of wood.
